About the MAC Hermann Trophy

The Hermann Trophy is college soccer’s oldest and most prestigious award – soccer's equivalent of the Heisman Trophy.

It is named for Robert R. Hermann, former Chairman of the Executive Committee of the North American Soccer League and one of its founders. The Hermann Trophy has been awarded every year since 1967, with some of the most prestigious names in soccer receiving the award.

Decided by both Division I college coaches as well as passionate fans, the Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy is the most definitive and most prestigious annual award in the realm of collegiate soccer, etching its legendary members into history as the apex of our sport, and inspiring generations.
